Request an Employment or Income Verification
Follow the steps below to request an Employment or Income Verification:
Step 1: Access Your Account
• Login
• New User? An account is required. Learn how here > Commercial Verifiers and Government Verifiers
Step 2: Begin Verification Process
• The landing page should read Start a New Verification at the top.
• If not, click New Verification
Step 3: Verification Type & Permissible Purpose
• Choose the verification type
• Employment Verifications will only provide data such as job title, start date, term date, original hire date, etc., but will exclude income information.
• Income Verifications will provide Employment Verification data and income such as income summary, pay detail, pay rate, etc.
• Choose the appropriate Permissible Purpose for why you need this information.
Step 4: Employer Information
• Click Choose Employer
• Option 1: Enter the Organization Code and click Look up. Then, click Save Employer
• Option 2: Click Employer Lookup, enter the organization name and click from the drop-down menu, then click Save Employer
Step 5: Employee Information
• Enter the Employee/Consumer's first name, last name, date of birth, and last four of SSN
• The Reference Number is an optional field that many mortgage companies use to list the loan number or file number.
Step 6: Authorization
• Type your name and click Continue
• Click Ok to confirm
Step 7: Payment
• Pay with a Credit Card - Click Take Payment by Credit Card, enter your credit card details, and click Pay
• Use a Coupon Code - Enter your Coupon Code and click Use a Coupon Code
• Invoice Later - Click Charge Company Account (Invoice Later) button. Don’t see the invoice option? Instructions can be found in the Invoicing article.
The request has been submitted, and is in the Pending Verification tab. Upon completion, Verifent will notify you via email.
